You can still buy the orange "paddles" from your BM Dealer (?, correct me someone) and a few  other places too.

Moto-bins (in the UK) call them "TURN TOGGLE REPLACEMENT SET ".

Swung past the dealer on the way home, they had them in stock Smile ....New BMW parts for less then 10$ including tax...I am going to buy a lottery ticket!
