Not K related...

About a month ago, the missus wore one of those (non-waterproof) Fitbit thingos (distance travelled, steps taken, sleep time etc) in the pool and surprise, surprise, the thing crapped itself.  Couldn't get it to work...no charge, no nothin". Dried it with a hair dryer, left it out in the sun, nothing.

So it sat in a draw, dead as a door nail.

Last week, I thought I'll open the back of it and spray in DeoxIT. Nothing to lose. Except that I couldn't get the damned screws out.
So I gently prised open the back of the unit and sprayed it in there.

Left it for two days. Plugged in the charging unit and it worked...and is still going strong.

Not life changing, but impressive never-the-less.
