Hi I have been impressed with all the great advice and experance that is shared, with our love for the K BMW bikes. I have a 1988 K75c .

I have been reading the post. and have had my questions answered. Thanks to all.

Hi all
Can any one tell me the name or type of electrical plug that fits the accessory electrical socket above the gear change . I am wanting to plug in a battery charger. Do you have advice

I think you are referring to the merit plug, some call them john deere plugs too

Would you be referring to the DIN plug?  It's like the BMW version of an automotive cigarette lighter accessory power socket.
There are lots of adapters available (check eBay or Amazon) or just buy a charger with the proper DIN plug.
