Hello Everyone,

Is there anyone out there?

More importantly, is there anyone who can explain in a simply and easy way (I'm an oldie just getting used to the mysteries of the computer), to load images / photographs to the forum.

I would like to share with you the photographs of my K100 when I found her in a dark and dismal lockup and more close ups of when she got home to her new abode (my garage).

Since coming home, I have striped down the bike and repaired  / replaced many items and now ready to start the rebuild.

I have tried several times now to load photographs - which may be obvious to you young pups out there, but an oldie who did not have much hair to start with, has left me in a stage of total bewilderment, confusion and now bald!

Any help would be most gratefully received - alternatively, I may have to resort to the tried and tested method of catching carrier pigeons!

The pictures are not directly posted, you will have to use 2 icons, the two icons at the left side.
1.) the first icon is to upload pictures to a server that host the pictures

2.) if step 1.) is done you copy the address/URL and click on the second icon to insert the copied address/URL into the free fild you will see after clicking the second icon. the picture will then be added into your text/thread.

This is a other link with some information

If you have more questions or if it doesn't work as you want it, just go on asking :-)

Cheers

Welcome Hopping Mad...and Happy Christmas to you.

Just sneaking a look at the four between Crimbo lunch, presents and settling into a traditional afternoon of repeats on the telly. Grey, wet and dreary out and unseasonably warm.

Anyway, in answer to your question...try this link. Should help you post your pics. As you will know from other posts - we all like pics.

Don't know what "oldie" means - we're all young pups on here and regularly use the forum to learn tricks to fix the bikes and tricks to get to use the computer better too.

Hi bald eagle
I guess it also helps if you know the underlying principle of posting pics.
You have to save (upload) a PIC to the server first (left picture icon). You'll get a few links.... just click the middle one to select it..... Copy it and then paste it into your post with your text.

You're only as old as you feel.... and I always feel pretty young when I'm riding. I think you'll find the average age here is getting up a bit, but "oldie"??.... we don't use that word here Very Happy
Looking forward to seeing your pics... cheers

I'll just add one other little hint about posting photos that never seems to get mentioned and I eventually worked out when I first tried posting;

Once you have pasted your photo link into your message box then hit the preview button which will cause the photo to show up and you can see how it looks and check rotation etc.

I always hit the preview button after I paste in each photo link.

Cheers
