Hi Folks,
Just getting ready to order some supplies for my first oil change on my new '87 K100RS. Besides being dizzy from reading all the posts about engine oil itself, I have come across a site that offers a "kit":

Kit includes: 3 Mahle oil filters BMW #

                        3 EnDuraLast crush washers BMW # 07 11 9 963 200

                  And 1 EnDuraLast oil filter removal wrench BMW # 83 30 0 495 448

all for the low price of $53.99 shipped.

Here are my concerns:

1. Are these acceptable filters? (i did do a forum search and came up with 1 member selling these filters for $10 bucks back in 2010)
2. If they are acceptable filters, is this a good deal?
3. The wrench is included, this is a good thing, yeah?

Looking forward to reading your responses and getting started!

1 Yes
2 No idea, wrong country, different currency etc
3 Yes, you'll need it.  You wont need to buy another.

Sounds like a good deal to me but then again with our exchange rate anything is a good deal.

As the EME site says, Mahle are the OEM oil filter for the K and they are about the cheapest I can buy oil filters from overseas.  Very Happy
