all weather biker here from wet Birmingham commuting daily (except snow) on a beige (gold?) k100lt.

Welcome gsxrjeff.

There are quite a few of us in UK/Ireland that rely on the trusty old K for our daily commute, come rain or shine. I also try to avoid snow, but sometimes, you can get caught out....(but not very often in the low/wetlands, thankfully). 

Beige LT? - 88KE has one of those and it is definitely gold not beige!!Very Happy

Enjoy the forum - exceptionally helpful, genuinely friendly people and some good fun banter.

So when are you trotting over here on the ferry? Lots of good camping and so on, our petrol is about €1.24 or about 90p of your money.
