Hi syd here aka Richard but syd is fine and less wear and tear on your keyboard.
Why am I here, well I recently bought a 1984 K100RT with a Premier sidecar to do a little dirt as I was missing my old 81 Yamaha TR1000 with a DJP attached and we just loved being out of control on the dirt kind of life so when it went November  12 months ago I then bought a 2007 Suzuki Bandit 1250 with a Griffin sidecar attached and it is scary and that is on the black top, I am just not ready to go to hell on the bandit yet  but will run close to hell as I can at times on dirt on the BMW outfit.

Welcome to the forum. I prefer Richard but there are some here that will say I could be biased.
You will appreciate the maners of a K after being out of control on a Bandit.
If ya zap over to the portal page and have a read through the "so you just bought a BMW" by Ted it will give you a good idea of what things will need looking at first.
Whack a picture or 2 up and give the Krew a look.

Welcome Syd,

I echo what 88KE says, only additional thought is for you to change your name from Syd to Sed - not only does that bring immense savings to the keyboard, but as the "E" is so much closer to the "S" and the "D" it saves an additional immeasurable amount of time for a one finger typist ...that pesky "Y" is several letters further along the keyboard and requires real effort to hit it. Very Happy

As they say, you don't need to be mad to be in the Knuthaus, but it sure helps!
