Next Tuesday at 8.00 on the Ozzie ABC Catalyst will have a section on Riders protective clothing.
For anyone overseas you  may be able to go to ABC.net.au and go to "iview" at the right time which will be GMT +11 hours

This should be interesting. I read an article (below) recently about a study/testing done by Deakin University in WA on M/C gear sold in Australia. While there are no rating systems in place in Australia regarding safety, 8 of the 10 brands failed their tests. The article didn't reveal which brands failed but it did say that “The best quality product in the market in Australia today is probably the stuff in Aldi."

Those folks out there in TV land who watch MKR would have seen the Forum's own Alexander McCarthy's restored K100 Police bike on a couple of the shows.

Well I believe there aren't many restored K100 Police bikes out there, so I'm assuming it was his.

It did look a treat!

I don't know where this has originated but I suspect it may be from the same testing, as usual they showed just enough to get you interested.
