Hi

I recently filled out a world map ( http://www.mytravelmap.tk ) of places that I had been too and realized that Eastern Europe is missing.

So I am asking for advice on must see places (on K100) in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania and Bulgaria for my next tour - maybe Sept this year.

My last big one lasted a month (including the K100 meeting in Rome) in Sept 2013 so I need to plan another!

Hi Notts,

I have a German Mate who has done some quite extensive bike tours in the part of the world to which you refer. PM me and I will talk to him and put you in touch

It depends what you want to see. Here are some quite old towns with nice downtown as mentioned Karlovy Vary; another one is Cesky Krumlov which is situated on the south close to the Sumava mountains where there are several nice roads for the motorcycle. Karstejn castle and Konopiste castle are both close to Prague, both are nice. Karlstejn is surrounded by a number of curvy roads and close to Konopiste there are two motorcycle museums. You shloud definitely visit the Prague, of course Smile. In the moravian part of Czech Republic there are nice places around Karlova Studanka - for the trip and motorcycle riding as well. And castle Lednice of course Smile.

And many other places Smile

I do remember that one......you met up with Ringfad [Simon] somewhere along the way. I had intended to make that trip to Rome too but work got in the way the day I went into the office to clear the desk off with the intention of hopping on the ferry the day after. Such is life.

This year I had plans to go to Europe too, but my daughter decided to give me the good news that she would be getting married in the summer. Such is life.

Which maybe leaves next year.......its really got to be May or September.

You will be spoiled for choice. I have taken the car to Budapest, been there quite a few times and there is lots to see and enjoy.
