Missing a couple of the sidecover grommets so am trying to chase some up locally. Are for the two 12mm holes.

I've read the sept 2011 post on the subject - advice to get fr Munich but there is probably a CHAMPION grommet that may fit.

Does anyone have the correct part number? . Looks like BS0915 is close.

also part no for Champion 6mm clutch bolts (6)

Rode to Carnarvon gorge (Central Qland) on the RS (1983) last week -1100kms each way and bike never missed a beat. Weather(winter here) perfect and days up there 30. Didn't even take WW gear.
Using 20-22kms per litre (62mpg). That bike is incredibly comfortable to ride (riding position and seat)
Have to get rid of some of these bikes and the RS was on the hit list but it's just too good. Think it's the same argument that women use who collect cats.

The clutch bolts are available from REPCO and are 7 x 1mm thread 50mm long with an 11mm hex head. There are 5 in a blister pack so you need 2 packs. They need to be trimmed down to the correct length and get shakeproof washers for them.

Gees some counter jumpers want you to do all the work. The lazy shit should look up the champion catalogue and find the part from the description. Unfortunately I don't have it as the pack has long gone.

From the champion site

M933070357 x 35mm Set Screws
M933070407 x 40mm Set Screws
M933070507 x 50mm Set Screws
