Today was my first bike ride since Rosskko's last one.
I went on a beautiful beach and decided to write his name on the sand as a tribute to his life.
Then I decided that we should have him traveling with us all over the world.

Let see on how many countries we can have his soul traveling among us...
During your next rides, take a picture with something related to Rosskko.
Here is his first travel in Nova Scotia (Canada)

As Rosskko's planned visit to England and Ireland sadly didn't happen, I'm taking him around the UK with me, so here he is in the flat Fenlands of Cambridgeshire.

If this was Facebook, there'd be two "like"s. Hope to add something myself when I get back to where I have a K100.

Is that Rosskko hitchhiking for his next week end ride?
Let's see who will stop for him and where he will enjoy his next single malt.

Took a ride into London today to meet up with Ainsjac and Jayne during their brief and bike-less visit to the UK.

Had a great meet up with them for some loffee, pies and some very enjoyable conversation. Also enjoyed some showery typical British "summer" Rosskko weather...and we took time out to remember him when he joined us in the middle of Hyde Park.

I will get a better "Rosskko" for future rides...but he was definitely there in spirit with us and he kindly organised a heavy dump of rain on me as I was on my way home and passing, very aptly, through Bath.

A grand day out and a good fast blast on Gretel...there and back!
Return match somewhere near Dubbo NSW to be organised soon and I'm buying lunch!!

It was great to catch up and continue to remind ourselves of Rosskko's life long association the mighty K. Many thanks to BAE for having the time to ride over to London to see us.

Of course, in the UK, for anyone that is feeling flush and has a grand to spare... you could have a personalised Rosskko tribute plate. No good for our K bikes though as vehicle must be registered new after 1 Sep 05.

I am not too disappointed. It was a good game and I have a true appreciation for the Portugal team. They were not really active in the first half time, but they came back like a lion and were impressive in the second half.
Congratulation to Portugal.
Rosskko.... Were you sleeping? IT DIDN'T RAIN!

I have just returned home from a solo run up to central Queensland, 1400 kms each way, to visit my son and his family. On the morning of my departure the forecast was for rain all day so naturally the thoughts of spending some time with the son, daughter in law and 3 grand-kids and a wet ride invoked the spirit of Rosskko.

So I decided that he needed to visit a well known landmark in western Queensland that I know he would have enjoyed riding to and which has been visited by a number of forum members - The Nindigully Pub

So let's raise a glass to our absent friend

Good to see some Rosskko banners and glasses raised to our old mate.

Ever since I made my ROSSKKO plaque in June, he's travelled with me for the last 8 (consecutive) camping weekends. Just knowing it's with me keeps his memory alive and reminds me how lucky I am to still be enjoying what gave Rosskko so much pleasure.

Here we are last weekend in Derbyshire.

Paul.

I cannot agree more, Paul !

Well now: Rosskko made it to Limburg, the Netherlands on july 30, 2016. In fact: dry weather and only a short tour in my neighbourhood.
Here we are at Fromberg, near Maastricht. I will get a better plate in honour of our mate soon.

Cheers mates !

As we know RossKKo was/is one of my closest friends and I am so pleased his name has visited Limburg...and to show how small this K world is my brother lives in Heerlen in Limburg and I know the area pretty well being the "hills " of Holland...wish I had known as i am sure my brother would have shared a bier or 2 in memory.

One day i will ride there again and look forward to doing just that raising a glass to missing friends.

Very Happy Hi KKlompy !
Whatever they say: there is no such thing as coincidence...
I'll be more than happy to meet you in future, whenever you decide to visit your brother ?! Always a K-bike at hand to lent, OK ?!
(And raising glasses to missing friends is better done in good company; I'll be glad to join you... Smile )

cheers
