I have introduced myself before but still wont let me post throughout forum.
I am from NZ currently in Holland ( at the end of my trip) have built a cafe racer out of my k75s brick.
Riden through Belgium and france from Holland now selling bike if anyone in the Netherlands is interested

Good thought, Olaf. I've certainly thought of something like that, but not sure where in the Rodemack house I would keep it. Sad

Son in law also has negative things to say about the hassle involved in "importing" a vehicle into France. 

Maybe one day.
I'd like to ride the Route Napoleon from Golfe Juan near Antibes to Grenoble. Driving it last June was good, I'm sure riding a K would be better!

A pity, kmlgalloway, as a K75 is on my wish list, and I'm not likely to be in that part of the world until May/June next year.

We know a very nice place in France where you could keep it........it would keep a K100RS some nice company there......
