I've seen several photos of TBs connected this way. Why? If it was the answer to TB balancing BMW would make it standard on all K100, not so?

Alternative question What am I missing? Or What wrong assumption am I making?

i dont think its about synkronising the tb's ,i read somewhere that this setup would give a more constant pressure to the fpr , i even tried it out , but i really could not  feel any difference.
