It's an '87 with 42K miles, paid $1800. So far I've put on new tires (Metzler Sportek Klassik), new front brake pads (EBC Semi-Sintered), had a local hose shop fabricate new ss brake lines front and rear for $120, flushed the brake fluid, replaced the torn rubber cup at the rear of the transmission (what a mess!), adjusted the clutch, changed the air filter, purchased new keys from motokeys.com using the codes from PO, set up the powerlet on the dash to charge my cellphone, removed the PO's CB Radio, purchased aftermarket bag liners off of ebay, replaced grips, replaced all bulbs (headlight bulbs, taillight bulbs, and turn signal bulbs)
I’ve purchased all necessary parts for oil/filter change including new sight glass, final drive fluid change, transmission fluid change, coolant change which hopefully will be this weekend.
After that it’ll be replacing the crankcase breather hose, fuel hoses using gates lines as well as the fuel filter, lubing the final drive splines, new radiator cap with interior o-rings. Should then be up to snuff.
