Howdy all.

I discovered tonight that one of my locks on the panniers is missing the "wafer" thingo that holds it in the barrel.

Have a look at the photo and you will see what I mean.

If you have a dodgy pannier lock laying around (with the wafer), I would like to buy it.

Thank you.

"A wafer for monsieur?"

Easily the worst bit of cinema that I have ever seen...

G'day Blakey, I may have one of those wafer type thingies lying around. I'll have a rummage around the shed and will confirm. Cheers Tom

Thanks Tom!

Also, how is it held in there? A spring? How do you get it out or in?

Any help is appreciated!

The spring pushing it out...the top of the opening is a hair more narrow
which should prevent it to escape.
But when it gets old and worn WTB - pannier lock "wafer" Oldman10 (like the majority of the members) it jumps out for fun.
Insert the spring, push in the wafer, keep your finger at the top of it...problem solved, so far.
