Hi All...recently, i had acquired a 1985 BMW K100 from a friend that was moving to San Francisco...the bike is not running and i have already pulled the tank and fuel pump (broken and replacing it)...i will replace the fuel lines, filter and pump...my goal is to make a brat bike out of it...the bodywork is already off and up for sale or to be donated (havent decided yet)...my next steps are to get a battery, fix the tank and try to start it...i would like to get rid of the airbox too and put velocity stacks...i will first read through your posts here to see if my questions have been answer already...anyway, hello all...you can see pics on my instagram @jolo994...thx Jolo

PS: Can anyone point me in the right direction for a service manual? Haynes or Clymer?

WelKome!

Unless you change the engine management system you will have to foregone the velocity stacks...
