While painting the various panels on my K100 Basic this afternoon I was thinking about the amount of bikes I own and how many K's. I have 7 bikes and that includes 3 K's, soon to be 4. I know some of you will have many more.

Who among us owns the most K's...and be honest.

5 x K75:
- 75S a rider
- 75C a rider
- 75S project
- 75RT project
- 75 S spares

Two other BMWs. I am also looking at another 75S.

So come on, someone will beat me.

I've got a garage a' troi consisting of a '94 K75RT in Mystic red, a '94 K75S in Dakar yellow, and a generic white '92 K100RS. They all run and are used regularly.

Bob, one willy is fine if it works and you know how to use it.
In the end you can only use one at a time :-)

Cheers

Then why bother?.
It was just a general and friendly enquiry and I take offence at your tone.
Every time I see you chip in on a thread it's derogatory. There's only one "willy" on this thread and it's YOU.

If it was about who's got what, we wouldn't be messing around with old K's would we Bob?

And who do we get to drop the handkerchief????

Oh, I know, 88 can use the lardons........

Guys, when people are passionate about things then we believe in our own.

I haven't met Motorbike Mike and hope maybe one day we will but I have really enjoyed his posts and threads and looking at the Cobas its clear he is passionate about his bikes and Ks.

I have met BobT through the forum and stayed down his way in France twice with 88 and he is equally passionate about his bikes and has a wealth of knowledge too.

His wife rides too and we have had some fantastic outings and runs.

I have 3 Ks.....one I use all the time, the K100RT, the K100LT is in the shed needing work, the K100RS became a parts bike and don't see it running again. But there are plans to add another running bike in 2017....

Us Eccentrics don't always wave willies......we look like this Worship

If you need a close up of one then its this Leprachaun

I've just come off the phone with the owner (he rang me) and the price is tumbling.
I'll have a think over the weekend.

Having owned a brand new K1200GT back in 2004 I would jump at the chance to buy a GT or RS. They are both the same machine apart from electric screen and heated seat on the GT, but they are an even better intercontinental missile than the K100.
Only thing that stops me buying one is space. In the picture, taken 3 days ago, the two Ducatis are waiting to come in and behind me is another Ducati in my carpeted office!

My problem is space-I'm out of it! I restored my Basic K to take over and leave in Spain but the KRS would be nice too and good replacement for my R12R out there at present. I'm screwed-I don't know what to do.
I do know that I've got to get rid of at least a couple of bike next year.

Having searched some forums ref the K12RS/GT's it's not all good news, ABS very unreliable and they're not that good on fuel.... it's an itch I'm trying not to scratch.

Make that 6 x K75 as of this morning. I managed to speak with an old friend and convinced him to part with his 75S which has been sitting for the last ten years.

It is a 1/91 K75S with 3 spoke wheels and I will be the second owner. 233k km with bits and pieces including a low seat, panniers, etc.

Oh, and that is me on Will's 75T in the left of the photo. Nice pic Olaf.

I don't think there are many K owners with just the one and if that's the case, you know they want another.

'86 K100RS/HRD sidecar (with 1100 engine) - general duties touring and camping.

'87 K100RT with Paralever added, getting better all the time. Daily hack and winter bike.

'89 K100RS4v. Pretty well finished now in satin black with red highlights, will do the seat still(like the seat that ended up on Rosskos naked bike).

Any more? Don't think I need another though a 75G/S would be useful
