I've just come across this collection of ABS spares that I won back in November for £1, I'd almost forgotten about them. It's always good to have a spare ECU in stock isn't it?.
I spoke to the chap on the phone to arrange collection and he was so disgusted that no-one had bid against me, he told me not to bother paying him!

Where were you all?

Nice buy.

I did spot it but collection only was the limiting factor for me.

Not that I needed a 4th K bike, but I thought this looked like a pretty good deal...

Can we make this a gloat thread?

How about three new clutch cables for $10?

A used K75 HES plate for $15.

A K1100RS belly pan for $10

A complete K75 engine, trans, final drive, handlebars, alternator, starter, relay box and wiring harness for $75

A starter for $10

If you like .75, we can make this a gloat thread but at this early stage I'm leading 'cause mine were free-I expect someone to out do me very quickly.

Who else has won what?

So I spotted a radio on eBay, it was listed as a Boye radio, the photo had a photo of a BOSE WAVE radio.  So I bid, starting bid was $1.  That's exactly what I got it for.  Came, brand new worked perfectly.  Seller miffed.

eBay gives you a starting bid option.  One should use it if one doesn't want to get screwed.

And just how does this tie into my K-100 motorcycle?  It's in the garage, I listen to it when I work on the bike.

I was given this for free a few weeks go. Not a K, but great condition and runs. It is 49 years old.

I recently scored 2 perfect tanks and 3 seats, one was brand new, for nothing.
I also picked up a totally reconditioned gearbox for AU$200

Ok, that's a pretty sweet freebie - but without a K bike association, I'm afraid it may not be eligible for the contest...

Looking forward to ride on that in September. Is a real beauty. I remember those steering dampers too. We used to wind them on tight on some buggers parked bike if we didn't like him, so it became something to check before moving off, same as making sure side stand was up. In all my teenage years I lived on a nice straight road, 1/4 mile from the junction, got used to the sound of every bike and top of the list were the Ducati and MotoMorini singles..... on full bore. They didn't have the reputation for being the fastest, but yet none of the big bikes could keep up with them in the twisties.

At least you now have next years Christmas puddings [note the plural] sorted now. Will bring them with me!!

You are mistaking the bike Olaf, they don't have side stands electric starters, mirrors or even indicators!  The 40 watt alternator would not even drive the headlight bulb on my K100.
