Hi everyone,
Xmas day I could smell petrol around the 86 K100 when I put it away. After a quick look I couldn't find any tracers or leaks.
Today there was a small puddle under the bike and when i lifted the seat it was very wet near the tank.
I lifted the rear of the tank and seen it wet around the Fuel Sender Unit so I emptied and removed the tank.
I came inside and done a bit of research on here and after further inspection it seems to be coming through the plastic connector. The O ring seems fine but will replace anyway.
My question, is there any cheaper places in Oz other than Munich Motorcycles? I don't want to bother with a second hand unit.

Munich is about as cheap as they get in Oz but go to Motobins in UK or Motoworks also in UK they will be much less even counting the extra freight and they are usually quick.
I have heard that Munich buys his stuff from Motoworks.

Although I'm in the UK my preference is for Motorworks for two reasons: they tend to be cheaper than Motobins and they sell good quality secondhand stuff.

I used to live just down the road from Motobins, it was a 30 minute ride out for coffee.
These days I find that Motorwerks and Motobins prices are about the same as the BMW dealers in Europe charge, but there is no postage cost with the dealer.

Thanks everyone,
Motobins had everything in stock but landed in Oz was no different to buying local.
Motoworks had no stock
Just wanted to see a few comments before I splashed out this time of year.
Thanks for all your replies.

Buying one-offs from Bins or Works can be a bit freight expensive for us here in Oz but still worthwhile. It becomes better when you order multiple items. From my experience Motoworks pack their goods very well to ensure the package is not too big, plus important items are well padded. This is the opposite to EME in the States who don't seem to give a sh!t about how anything is packed.
