So I'm in the process of connecting this piece of amazing  Laughing  Chinese electronics on my K100. I will be using the "start in neutral and N-light"-relay sollution. Just found out that the speedometer want's ground instead of +12V (as it states in the instructions...) to light up the neutral light, so I will need to make some changes with an extra relay. Have found some information on how to make the tachometer steady. Can ad the info I've found about that if that might be of interest?

What I wonder is if anyone has managed to connect this speedometer to the original speed sensor? There's a speed sensor included with this speedo but I would like to use the original sensor if possible.

Hey Jonas,
Please list all your findings, it's always useful to someone somewhere. Very Happy

yes its been done

an operational amplifier is required to increase the signals to near 5 volt levels (as it comes off the sensor at a very low signal )
the circuit is quite simple ...but as you guessed it, another piece of gear to make work

there are a few threads in the forum for making this gear
and I will be exploring over time, to find the easiest way of doing it with minimum components

good luck

Found this thread which I have found very helpful: https://www.k100-forum.com/t12022-how-to-get-a-cheap-ebay-speedo-to-work#143402

I will get back in this forum if I find something new to add.
