Hello everyone!!

My name is Benjamim, 32 years old and I am from Portugal (Lisbon).

Recently I've bought a BMW K100 RT (1984). It's not yet on the road and the objective is to transform as a scrambler. I will try to do almost all the work by myself (except mechanic tasks, which I don't know and has a big impact/risk to work on without knowledge).

Here is a photo of the bike:

Hope I can found some help, tips and guidance here to bring my project to reallity!!  Wink

Welcome here Benjamim!

Nice bike you have, a Basic.
I'll be in Faro for vacation in April and visit Lisboa, good to know there is a K :-)

Cheers

Nice place you live in

Welcome to the forum too.

88 and myself are going to France in September, about 9/10th or so for 2 weeks camping, will be down near Perigueux.

If you are travelling on your K and feel like some camping adventure we are staying about 2 weeks but check out this thread started by BobT. We have met him a few times and would strongly recommend this!!!.....  http://www.k100-forum.com/t12063-meeting-in-france

Welcome Benjamim,
I was in Portugal and Spain last Spring and I had a delightful time.  I'm looking forward to returning, next time I hope to be on two wheels.  I found the roads to be very nice and aside from too many tolls, it was a wonderful driving experience.
Good luck with your project.
