I am planning to change my turn signals and rear tail light for new LED signals and I wanted to ask if I need to change the Flasher Relay and if there is something else I need to replace in order to get the LED lights to work properly.

Thanks..

No all you need to do is modify your flasher relay. It is a five minute job and is free. You can then fit LEDs front and back with a normal flash rate. If you do a search on this forum for LED flashers, you should find a link to the mod, it involves cutting a tiny pin in the relay.

Hey Jan!

There is a easy way to manipulate the relay.
I don't find the link, but somebody else will :-)

Remove the existing flasher unit, open it up, cut pin 7 on the 8 legged chip and put it back together. Works fine.
I didn't do this so wait until somebody confirms!!!

Cheers

That's what I found
