Anyone have one in more or less working order? Cosmetics aren't a problem.

Cheers

Hello!

You will have to specify your request.

The older models have squared connection on the back.
New models >1989 have round connection.
The fuel left displayed are different.

What is you mode,l year?
Pictures are good!

Cheers

Just to complicate a bit more the very early ones have 2 fuel warnings n the left hand side, an orange 7 litre and red 4 litre. This changed to a single red 5 litre warning but the other light position remains in place.  I think this change occurred in 85.

Yes, mine has only one fuel warning light but two lightbulb spaces. To be honest though, I'm not too concerned about that bit.

May not matter but I was concerned there might be other wiring/socket changes. I don't know if the change in pins occurred with the change in the fuel lights in 85 or was a separate change afterwards.

The second space was later co-opted for the ABS warning light. An ABS panel should fit as the relevant pin (pin 8, I think - I don't have a wiring diagram handy) is not connected up in your wiring loom.

Thanks for the info everyone, at the moment I just want something working i can plug in to trial and see if this fixes my issues. If it does, I can rob modules from it to replace whatever is duff on mine. If not, I'll know I need to investigate elsewhere.
