New here and posting this mandatory post to start.

I have been on airheads for many years and also have been trying my best to avoid flying bricks for years.

This brick came with a package deal that I couldn't resist so here I am .... trying to make 0this brick fly again.

According to BMW, this is a BMW K 100 US (authority version) VIN 0030268: July 11th, 1984 - August 15th, 1984 - BMW of North America - Polaris metallic, 576

Of course the Krauser full fairing is one of the major reasons that I made the exception of bringing it home.

It needs some regular barn found items, tires, front brake MC, fuel pump, seat and few others...

Engine turns and gear shifts which are great thing.

The radiator, brake paddle and front lower engine condition confirm the millage.

I have never seem those fairing before.

The fairing is frame mount and looks very well built to me.

According to my research, it was a $1221 set up for what you see and another $190 for the belly pan back in 1986.

Shocked

Welcome!

Are those original miles?  That is a really nice fairing.  I suspect you might like this bike.

Yes, from the condition of brake paddle, radiator and the front end of the engine, it appears to me it's the original miles. That's one of the other reasons why I agreed to take it.
This very bike was laying in the garage corner over the winter and I don't believe it was ever on eBay before. However, I did post on advrider thought.

The belly pan is huge indeed. It covers the whole engine and we all know how wide those bricks are.
