Will be dismantling the bike shortly.
Bike is tatty. Swing are and back are dark grey in colour

Let me know what you need.

Tank and seat are poor. No fairing or side covers.
Rest of bike generally average.
PO chopped the back of the frame - so if you are thinking about a cafe racer and don't want to cut yours then consider this. Surface rust and some peeling paint.

Will post more details once I pull it apart.

Also have a set of k100 forks. Black in colour. A little pitting.

Will price this all asap.

Bike located in Wollongong. Will post parts at your expense.

Regards

Guy

Hi Guy,
I've a water pump/oil pump unit which is still on the motor of an '84 RS that I purchased (minus front end) from a bloke in Uki for $250. The motor is sitting with Ray Peake just North of Cunungra in Qld. It might be worth you seeing if you can get Ray to remove same and post it to you. Happy to let you buy it for the legendary $1.00 since I have no idea of condition. The rear shock which I've used off this parts bike is still good 10,000 km later and the FD seems to have proved ok for Holister so far BUT, I'd love you to hang onto your chopped frame for me. I have a son who wants to take one of my K bikes in a cafe direction and I can't get my head around the frame chopping business.....
PM me if you don't come up with a simpler or more reliable option.

Hi Guy

You might have some parts I am seeking.

My '83 K100 is fitted with a Japanese Motoco single seat and tail box. However I have obtained a dualseat and tail piece for occasional use... it is an easy swap.

The seat I found is lacking some parts as is my bike. The forward hinge and the locking mechanism are all complete. I am seeking a few other bits:

1. Rear hinge bracket... bolts to seat
2. Rear hinge bracket....bolts to frame
3. Stay/ hold up prop
4. ? Cross piece bracket which supports lower end of stay?  (or is this part of the main frame?)

Any help appreciated.

Sorry. No go

PO went down the unfinished bobber path. There was no seat on it. Largely a parts bike.

Good luck

Thanks for the reply.

I will pursue the water pump if that's okay and will try to find Ray. Sure as hell am NOT going to remove that nut... for now.

Frame is your sons if he wants it. I can stash it in the back shed for now.

Will PM you for more details

Regards

Guy
