I bought this with the intention of running radials on my 1985 K100RS.  I've concluded that will never happen, so this wheel needs a new owner.  It's in fine shape, just needs a tire and a bike to mount it on!  I'd like $85US for it.  PM me for photos.

It will be stamped on the rim. Type A is K1100 Type B is K75s mono lever.

Type A is cast into this wheel, so I suppose it's from a K1100 motorcycle.

Anybody know what the difference is? Is it to accommodate the center lug bolt on the K11s?

I've been running a K1100LT rear on my K75 Frankenbrick for years and can't tell the difference.

Do the para vs mono final drives have a corresponding off/onset?

AFAIK all the K mono lever are the same positioning but the K1200s seem to be different again to the K1100. I have a K1200RS rear and need to machine 11.5mm from the centre to get it in line. The 3 spoke K75 appear to be a different forging to the K1100LT wheel and the A or B is actually stamped into the rear of one of the spokes, not cast into the spoke as all the other text is. I checked out a K1100LT wheel to see if I could machine enough off but it doesn't leave enough metal for my liking.

I have the 5" K1200RS wheel (for the 170/60 tyre) on my Big Block with a Paralever from a 1990 K100-16V. It sits in the centre, aligned with the '89 K100 frame's rear loop, with no shim required for clearance against the inside of the swingarm. Sometimes you get lucky....
