Newby here, thought I'd come to the experts before I spend a fortune changing everything. My 1985 K100 RT was running fine until I left the cafe when it just would'nt run clean low down. I got home using lots of revs and after leaving it for a couple of hours it started and ran fine. I would appreciate if anyone has come across this and what the fix is.

Possible bad connection on the temperature sensor. Clean with Deoxit.

How long you had the K? Where you from? Got any pictures?
We usually introduce ourselves first in this forum page and then you can post a question in the relevant tech forum. Them's the rules. We're a community here and enjoy lots of other things like idle banter rather than just providing a 'help desk'. Also by placing your question in the relevant technical forum it can be easily found and searched by other members which helps a lot.
