WelKome.

You found the right forum. This is the best one (in English anyhow) for K100s.

I have read the forums for years but never signed up.
I have a 1987 K100rt since 1998 which has about 55,000 miles on it. It would have alot more but I am a Merchant Mariner and been at sea of the time.
Plus riding in south Florida is inherently dangerous due to the idiot "cagers" .

Isn't it weird how if you let your bike sit awhile some gremlin crawls in?

Welcome from sunny (read Hot) Arizona aka ARIDZONA.I am located just about a !/2 mile west of Route 66 in Kingman, AZ.
Pretty much the middle, or as they say here "The Heart Of Route".
Let me know if you ever get out this way. Glad to do whatever I can for another rider.

Regards, Troy
