It's an 85, and I'd like to add a Rear truck and a rack for the truck to go on. Would love it if I can easily remove the trunk to carry into a lodge or so as to use solely the rack to bungie items down. Pics and pricing with location of where you got them would be great!

This is what I have they are strong and waterproof but not at that price, you should find some a lot cheaper.

Does that case come with a mounting rack?

What does the listing say?
Often the seller will have a mounting plate but usually the rack is a separate thing, I have to make my own.

I do have a Reynolds rack for a K100 but postage from Australia will kill your bank account.

I put that link to show what they look like.

Givi do a mounting kit for a K100 but I'm warning you against it. It only fits the 4v engines - *** knows why BMW changed the rear frame - and it can't be modified for the 2v frames. Been there, made my own.

Maybe the case discussed in this thread would work. It's convenient to remove and uses an attachment/detachment method similar to the OEM case.
