Which route are you taking? Cassiar or Al-Can?

I was thinking the Cassiar but do you have a recommendation of one over the other?

In case you haven't heard there are two seasons in Alaska: winter and road construction.
I rode both a few years ago and the AlCan definitely had less road construction. The Cassiar had sections where it would be a mile of pavement, 100 yards of gravel, a mile of pavement, 100 yards of gravel, a mile of pavement, 100 yards of gravel and so on. It was a little annoying since on those sections it was speed up, slow down, speed up, slow down.
Both are good though. I'd ask locals when you get there.
There's some great riding in southeastern BC so no matter which way you come I'd hit that if I were you.
