Hello, I've had my K100 T for about five years now. Having become a family man and eschewing motorcycles for too many years, I literally began having recurring dreams of riding. Previous bikes were Japanese, had a love affair with a '75 CB 750 SS as a kid. Thought I'd upgrade this time around but had no desire to join the Harley crowd.

The K bike was a natural choice. Functionally excellent, attractive and durable. Perfect bike to fulfill my twin desires to feel the wind in my hair and keep old machines going strong. (My garden tractor is a '79 Allis Chalmers, next will be an old pickup truck of undecided make and model)

Found a K100 T in great shape with under 30,000 miles on it. Loved it for all the reasons above, but found it to be a little lacking in style and ride-ability for my tastes. A little too top heavy and overly protected from the elements as I only take it on relatively short trips on some of Michigan's beautiful mild Spring thru Fall days.

I'm currently working on downsizing it. Going for a naked look and feel. I've found the forums here to be indispensable over the years and have finally come to a place where I actually have questions I can't get answered by reading.

Happy to be finally joining!
