My 1990 16v RS suffered a drive failure a couple of years and has since languished unloved.
Before the breakdown the engine was running great, the bike is complete apart from the exhaust and gearlever.
I don't have the time to sort it out and it could be of use to someone. So if you want it and have a trailer it's yours. The bike is in Waterford.

Wow - what a generous offer.
Sorry to hear that you're parting company with the bike, but no point her sitting unloved in a dark damp corner.

I hope that one of the Irish Eccentrics take you up on your offer...if not, I have a trailer and am only a few hours and a £350 ferry ride away and would seriously consider a day trip to collect (might put my other project on hold though!)

If I was gonna guess who i'd expect to hear from it would have been Simon and Will.
Simon got there first and we have a plan in place for saturday.

Glad to hear youse made it back in one piece.
It was a bit of mixed emotion as youse left, sorry to see the bike go but good to see an old friend again.
The end of approximately 12 years of K bike ownership but at least I still have my old R100GS so still part of the old school BMW family.
Look forward to seeing the bike alive again..

Will we see you along for the Eccentrics Christmas Brunch? Stradbally Fayre. Once an Eccentric always an Eccentric...come by car if weather is not good but do come along.

K fest, work and other distractions delayed me but she lives again. Just been out for second road test and am going to try to go to work on her tomorrow. Replacement shaft, radiator , exhaust, brake parts original bars and even got the abs back working. It was a sweet ride tonight.
