Not the answer youre looking for, but send it to these blokes LINK

RAD Motorcycle Suspension in Brisbane.

They are experts, good to deal with, well priced, and used by many dealers on the East Coast.

Saw that yellow shocky on gumtree. Looks like you nabbed a bargain, well done mate.

Thanks Floyd. Yeah. Know about RAM. Was just looking for someone a little closer.
Thought i'd seen a post here earlier this year about shockies and couldn't find it but managed to turn it up this evening.
Sorry Rick. I had to be quick because I knew you would be circling above  Laughing
Looks like a good unit. Just needs a new seal and rubber bumper. Timing was perfect as the oem shock on my 1100 has just given up the ghost.

I can't give much help in the way of a service centre for your Öhlins in NSW, but try this link for a semi-local:

Öhlins

I can say I got my R1150RT Öhlins shockies done this past Spring. What a difference it made! It came gradually, the fade over time in quality of ride and response to bumps. Admittedly, the trip to Alaska last year took its toll on them.

In Penrith you could try Teknik Suspension or SOS Suspension. Chivos at Granville would be another I'd ask. biketek (franks pons) at leumeah .

I've had shocks rebuilt by Chivos and SOS in the past, forks by Teknik.

Just thought I'd report back about the new-to-me Ohlins shockie I bought on Gumtree.
On Al's recommendation I contacted Doug Chivas at Chivo's M/C and got a quote to service this unit as it was leaking badly. He quoted me "no more than $300" and true to his word the bill was $290 fitted.
At the same time I got him to service the front forks. There were a few things not right with these ever since I picked Sweet Thing up from Perth last year, including a stripped filler plug. He found the forks were heavily sedimented even though I'd changed the fork oil twice since I took ownership and a couple of missing cir-clips. New seals and oil and they're now like new.
Sweet Thing performed very well on the Northern Tableland trip to Mt Kaputar last month with some very spirited riding while tailing Richmeister from Copeton Dam to Bingara for lunch.

Score! $300 Australian seems a fair price to get a rebuild on an Öhlins in OZ. I spent a bit more than that amount last Spring in the States on my R1150RT's pair. I love the way they feel over the road and the amount of adjustment for me, a inveterate fiddler of knobs and steps than can be twirled and whirled with a different ride result, is a pleasure. Goodonya, mate.

Now ya just need to get Rick G or someone equally proficient to fab up a triangular plate to reinforce that lower stud where it rests on the Paralever final drive (different, for obvious reasons, from a Monolever arangement).
