Greetings. I bought my first BMW; a '66 R50/2 in 1976. I bought my first K100, an '85 R100RT/EML sidecar rig in 1998. I have logged around 60K miles on BMW sidecar rigs. My K100 is currently out of service for a fuel injection issue with pressure lines and the fuel pressure regulator. I recently acquired what I hope are all the parts required to get it running. I'll post questions if/when I run into problems.

I recently acquired a 1996 K1100RS with only 12K miles from the original owner with all the keys, manuals, tools, etc. It had been in storage for several years. I got it running in short order, and need to fix the rear brakes and a few other minor issues to make it rideable. I will be selling it shortly thereafter for $2400.

Two Wheels Better

Welkome to the forum Bob B. It's a veritable plethora of K bike knowledge, fun and tomfoolery in here. It's even serious at times.

My little brother Jo lives just over the border from you in Massatucky. Pepperell, near Heald's Pond, to be exact. He rides a sweet, blue K1100RS with a K1200 motor tucked all in under its sleek flanks so that you'd hardly know it. Wave as you go by.

1987 K100RS, '93 K11/K12 hybrid 'Big Block', '09 K1300GT, '07 K1200R, '04 R1150RT, '95 R100 Mystic, '77 R75/7.
Have we accomplished half of what we dreamt we would? There may still be time.
