Hej everyone.
I am a 51 years old french guy living in Denmark. My first bike was a 1982 R45 BMW i bought in sept. 2016. Traded it in August 2017 for a 1984 K100RT to a short legged Danish guy who could not reach the road when sitting on the K100. Only 2 years between the 2 bikes but a world of difference! I enjoy the K100 more to commute and long rides. The R45 was only 27 BHP (the german version) and limited in terms of speed and usability. The k100 is more fun. also because it is white and looks like the old Danish police MCs... I have frightened a few car drivers on the highway! Eheheh...
Any Danish or European riders in the forum???
Have a nice weekend.
BR.
Igor

Hi Igor,

There are plenty of European riders on the forum. And some Danish ones. Even better, if you now feel like you would travel, we do meet up. Sometimes just for coffee but also sometimes on holiday or workshop days to help someone out.

So don't be afraid to ask any questions, you will find everyone very helpful.

Have you room for more than one bike?

Olaf

Hej! Thanks for your messages. Will be in Berlin tomorrow night to pick  up my bike from the local garage. Was in Berlin for the BMW Pure and Crafted festival and during the weekend, the engine of my K100RT began to get hot so I left it for repair at the local dealer. now ready for pick up, so back to Berlin tomorrow night and back in DK on monday. P&C festival was good. Organized only like the germans can. and you could drive all the new MCs just for (fun) testing. So i tried the K1600B...Shit, it accelerates like hell!!! What a 6 cylinders engine! Heavy bike but rides like a bicycle. Fantastic!!! Have a good weekend.

But you could have 10 or 20 K75/K100/K1100 or even a few K1 for the price of a K1600...........................

Yes but not everyone is a cheapskate Olaf.
For what you paid for your latest bike you could have bought 7 Honda 125s.
