It's a pity it is so far up The Island to Campbell River from WA state. That's the 18" rear wheel/drum brake version but it'd be a fine project if one had the ancillary bits to return it to a former glory - as I do. 

XE.com says that $500 Canadian Loonies is just about $395 USD at the mo'.  Hmmm.

Hi.  You could take a ferry from Port Townshend (I think) to Victoria and drive up to Campbell River.  That would add to the cost, but make for a nice scenic road trip.

The Blackball ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria, across the Strait of Juan de Fuca, would be the choice. I'm not certain whether US customs would allow a partially assembled motorbike in from Canada, but, yep, it'd be a sweet drive. Maybe my mate Peter in White Rock would be willing to retrieve it...
