Hello all,

Been riding airheads since 1979. Picked up a 1987 K75s a little while ago and absolutely fell in love with it. In the process of getting it back together after having the rear drive splines rebuilt, new main seal and drive shaft. Can't wait for warmer weather to get back on her.

Cheers,
Jim

Cool, we need to meet sometime for a Beef on Weck at the BarBill. Add a little K bike klass to the Harleys parked there.

Sounds like a plan. I understand they are going to open another in Amherst? Never as good as the original though.

Whereabouts in PA are you. Some nice riding between my place and the PA line. Then it gets real nice.

A suburb of Oil City. I used to do the Oil City Enduros back in the 70's. Nice riding country down there.

Hey any chance a foreigner can come join you? I am well versed in Buffalo wings but have yet to try the famous beef on weck. It goes with beer right?

I would like to agree with oalf!

In my experience when it come to a meet someone has to pick a time and date. I would bet that if you guys pick it, a nice group would show up just to be with like minded folks. Life is just to short so lets make it happen!

Well if Beef on Weck was invented in a bar and is served with beer then I will happily queue up on the Peace Bridge and make my way there

Well that's exactly how the Eccentrics came into being. 'Eccentrics' courtesy of Comberjohn.
We also have 'The Krew'.

Thinking caps on when you meet.....

Earliest for me might be later in April/early May. I don't think it has stopped snowing in Buffalo and surrounds just yet and my K is currently in baggies and boxes. This weekend will start the re-assembly part of my K apprenticeship.

Olaf, does meeting as a group get us on your list for Kristmas pudding? Wouldn't that be a lovely incentive!

You got it in one.

I have to start making a lot more. Just mailed one off to someone last Monday, last one I had left.

I grew up in East Aurora many years ago. Lots of great roads to ride around there. +1 on the BarBill. Also Wallenweins used to have a really good pizza.

Small world. I've met quite a few people from East Aurora on the web. Wallenweins pizza is good, so is Pasquale's near the circle. Wallenwein's won the best fish fry in western NY a few years back. Amazing what they do in that tiny kitchen.

I moved away back in the early 80's and have spent time all around the country. Western NY has hands down the best food of anywhere I've been. When I left Wallenweins had taken out the bowling alleys and put in indoor horseshoe pits. Pasquale's was a Shell gas station.
