hi i have a short with my k100lt coils.
if i put the coil cover on and twist it clockwise about 10mm it shorts to the engine stopping the front coil and stalling!
have checked all wires and ht leads to no help.
the cover is now being used with only the 2 rear coil cap heads being used.
does anyone have the dimensions of the mounting bushes/rubbers/isolators so i can make some more at work without having to remove said items and measure them myself
many thx

the coil cover screws should only be 4 x 8mm or so
is there any sign that the screws you are using are too long ? if 15 mm or so long the spark may jump from the coil to the screw especially at the top where the insulation - potting compound is at the thinnest .

good luck

its not shorting thru the cover screws its actually thru the mounting bolt of the front coil, which when you put the cover on and align the cover screws starts shorting! coil mounting rubbers 259495
