Desperate need to tow my trike 360 miles, is this ok given the type of gearbox we have, perhaps 100 miles at a time then run engine in neutral for a few minutes leave ten minutes and then continue need advise asap

I am not sure that's legalunless it's on a towing dolly.

However rear wheel drive cars [manual, not auto] regularly get towed on a dolly without issues and we have car type drive train on the Ks.

Running engine in neutral won't do anything as there will be no drive into the transmission in neutral.

Trikes often fit on 3 bike trailers...

Special towing hitch for trikes fitted.I mentioned running the engine as it will rotate the input shaft rather than the output shaft whilst towing

Not sure what your rear gearing is but for a 2 wheeler I'd remove the drive shaft.

(Not be to taken as professional technical advice. Just employing some common sense.)

+1 I'd go with removing the tail shaft it can't hurt.

Why do you want to start your engine in neutral sometimes? That won't change anything to the gear lubrication.
Tow it as far as you want to, it will cause less stress to the transmission than if you ride it.
