Anyone seen a sensor attached to the oil drain plug? Maybe oil temp? I am talkiing the plug on the sump near the oil filter cover.

I fitted an oil temp sensor to the oil pan drain plug on my Airhead when I lived in the heat of New Mexico yonks ago. Aside from being wildly inaccurate due to wet roads, airflow across the body of the unit, and oil temps being cooled by the fins of the pan itself, it was also vulnerable to road debris. If contemplating an oil temperature sensor on a K bike I'd suggest piggy-backing with a brass tee to the threaded hole where the oil pressure sensor goes, tho' the additional plumbing might be prone to leakage...
