It is with GREAT Pleasure and some relief
After Many Koffee's, Many Km's, A few Kamp Fires, and Lots of Phone Kalls
advice, assistance and strange looks
turning up to the K100 Forum Rides on a GSA

I now feel Part Of the Krew.
I have just purchased my first K Bike
Many thanks I think to GAZ and Tom
Also to Nigel, Parting with his 1988 K100RT

I look forward restoring this old girl back to as close as possible
as she was the day she was wheeled off the factory floor

I am sure in the coming months and hopefully not too many years, I look forward to asking advise on repairs and sourcing of those hard to get Parts

Many thanks in advance
StuartG

At least the GSA was the right brand.   cheers

Good to have your kompany, whatever you ride, but you don't have to park so far away now!   Wink  Wink

Welcome StuartG,

If it's the Holister bike I'm thinking of (the silvery one), then don't be in too much of a rush to restore back to original - she looked just great as she was.

There are no prizes for having an immaculate showroom condition bike unless you, erm, own a showroom and enter immaculate bike competitions. She will reward you far more by being out on the road with you and munching up all those kilometres in the kracking kompany of the Krew.

Enjoy

Plenty of good rides to come with the Krew Stuart. It's a nice problem to have choosing which bike to ride when a trip is beckoning.

It's always good to have someone in the riding group worrying about the direction we are currently heading while the rest enjoy the scenery knowing that the destination will arrive in due course.

Cheers

You will enjoy working on it and you will not have to worry about the front wheel jumping up in the air like that 1200 tends to do.

Yep we have attended a couple of Distinguished gentlemen rides and this time was a good chance to show off RossKKo's bike which sold a week later.

Looking forward to catching up as I find more time for riding and socializing.
