Hello all,

Been riding airheads since 1979.  Picked up a 1987 K75s a little while ago and absolutely fell in love with it.  In the process of getting it back together after having the rear drive splines rebuilt, new main seal and drive shaft.  Can't wait for warmer weather to get back on her.

Cheers,
Jim

Cool, we need to meet sometime for a Beef on Weck at the BarBill.  Add a little K bike klass to the Harleys parked there.

I would like to agree with oalf!

In my experience when it come to a meet someone has to pick a time and date. I would bet that if you guys pick it, a nice group would show up just to be with like minded folks. Life is just to short so lets make it happen!

Earliest for me might be later in April/early May.  I don't think it has stopped snowing in Buffalo and surrounds just yet and my K is currently in baggies and boxes.  This weekend will start the re-assembly part of my K apprenticeship.

Olaf, does meeting as a group get us on your list for Kristmas pudding?  Wouldn't that be a lovely incentive!

You got it in one.

I have to start making a lot more. Just mailed one off to someone last Monday, last one I had left.

I grew up in East Aurora many years ago. Lots of great roads to ride around there. +1 on the BarBill. Also Wallenweins used to have a really good pizza.

Small world.  I've met quite a few people from East Aurora on the web.  Wallenweins pizza is good, so is Pasquale's near the circle.  Wallenwein's won the best fish fry in western NY a few years back.  Amazing what they do in that tiny kitchen.

I moved away back in the early 80's and have spent time all around the country. Western NY has hands down the best food of anywhere I've been. When I left Wallenweins had taken out the bowling alleys and put in indoor horseshoe pits. Pasquale's was a Shell gas station.

This looks like a good meet up happening.

I was reading back over this and see I promised puddings....

Since then we had K Fest that took a quantity, some travelled to France with me for Crazy Frog........handed over at Millau Viaduct.

So now its time to be thinking of more as I recently got enough bowls for another 20 kilos of it.

So I need to know where to send it/them.....

The best value package for mailing from here is a 2 kilo package.......

Not to just drop in on yer convo, gents, but with The Banner being in your neighbourhood mid-August perhaps a few would like to sign it before it goes back Down Undah?

BTW, I love fish fries and and bit of yardbird from time to time, too. Did someone mention beer?

Yep, I'm in for signing the Banner before it heads back to the southern hemisphere.  Just say when and where and I'll make sure I can make the run for the border.

Can't make lunch this Friday but hopefully you will be up for that again before the summer is out Jim.

Cheers, Woodie

TWB, as you get close to NY let us know. I for one will ride up and wrestle some bear with you.

As for putting my JH on the banner I think Maine in August will be out of my reach, maybe next time it gets to the US.

Maine in August? I didn't say that, musta been someone else. Unless there's talk of a k rally or some-such that I missed. It's a possibility, of course, I love a good ride, but I'll passing through the edge of PA, crossing upstate NY, possibly southern VT, all of W MA along the border to E MA and southern NH.

My bad. I thought you had family and friends in Maine you were going to see before jetting to other side of the globe.

I think I might want to see if I can eat an entire Haystack.  What is your plan?  There is a bunch of us who meet in Youngstown at Sanger's farm for coffee at 9.  There's two Beemers and a bunch of Hardley guys.  I would probably head down to Lewiston from there to arrive about noon.  You would be welcome at Sanger.

Eating a entire Haystack would link you with some pretty impressive company Point-Seven-five!  Thanks for invite for coffee but I have a few things to take care of before heading out to lunch.  I plan to be up there between 12:00 & 12:30.  Hope to see you have a go at the Haystack.
I'll be the old guy with the Glacier Green K75s.
