Hi,

It's been a while since the gang met up. The long Civic Holiday weekend is coming up. Any interest in getting together Friday or Saturday? Thinking of the usual Olde Yorke on Larid near Ed's place but there are some guys out in the West end. Maybe a change of venue?

Is there somewhere around Burlington where we can meet to avoid the TO traffic?

Unfortunately this is a bad weekend for me. I am working with my sons.

I also have a badly stuck oil filter on the bike. I spent a bit of time yesterday trying to get it off without luck. Need to spend more time.

Take the pan off then you can really get at it with all sorts of tools

Yeah, that was what I was thinking Sad I have encountered stuck filters before on cars and trucks but they are easy to get out.

Burying them in the oil pan really makes an easy job hard Sad

I bought gasket maker and 4 liters of 20W50 oil (and 1 liter of 80W90 gear oil for the transmission) today in preparation.

Not only the stuck filter but I have to put new tires on, flush the brakes and coolant and then get the bike safetied. I am not going to ride her until I know everything is ok.  I may be a few weeks.
