Hey Guys,

I have just bought a k100 to turn into a cafe racer. I am planning to strip it down completely and do everything properly along with replacing most plastic parts with carbon fibre parts. (I'm a Composite Fabricator) Aiming to do the side panels first as well as a battery tray, ECU tray, headlight mount, fenders and as many other mounts and brackets I possibly can. I am strongly considering also making the seat out of carbon if I can find an upholstered section to bolt onto the carbon seat. Or I just make my own.
Would like to hear any thoughts you guys have.

Thanks,
Liam Hinschen

It's easy, once you've done it a coupla times. Go to the Forum page, type in 'posting pictures' or somesuch. You'll get some useless info but there's a tutorial and other's attempts there. Or if you want to experiment look above (when you're replying to someone) at the You Tube icon, go three clicks left and try it. It's a matter of choosing your file, uploading, highlighting the uploaded file, copy and paste, which drops it onto the screen. I always 'preview' before hitting send. It might be a piccie of you or a loved one in a compromising situation...

First parts to do, need to get the cad sorted out properly first though. Once sorted will hopefully start on the seat. The 'K100' will be raised from the panel and in a different weave pattern to the rest of the part as 100% of the material I will be using is pre-preg.
