I spotted this well done 9-1/2 minute vid on the Visor Down & Ride Apart websites this morning. Not a K in sight but with 93,000 annual deliveries I'll wager one or two ride one.

Sniff...can you smell that? I think it might be bullsh*t.

See one quite frequently in Belfast on a Pan - he's always good for a nod and a wave, or a big grin if we happen to pull up to the traffic lights together. Over here (the UK) it's normally your own bike in use (marked with big 'BLOOD' stickers and a pole with the blue light on the back) because there's not enough jam sandwiches to go around. Also, you only gravitate to a shared jam sandwich after X (I now longer remember what X is, but it's something to do with service).

Great video TWB, thanks for sharing that. Watching that I see how small a part that motorcycles are here in our transportation culture. That is an impressive way to organise a volunteer service

Thanks, Woodie. I searched their website and noticed row upon row of mainly Yammie FJR1300 with a few Hondog ST1100 & 1300 painted up in a quite standard and spectacular livery. It seems they're not all using their own machines. True, this sort of thing does not happen to this scale in North America. scratch

There was a bloke on OOOToob called Mad Stu in the UK who used to ride a K1100LT as a medical courier. His vids were quite entertaining in an argh-my-centrestand-just-broke and; oops-I-just-lost-a-mirror kind of way. Not sure if he still posts or whether he ever had anything to do with this forum.

These guys do more than blood in the UK, I know this as 2 years back I was in one hospital and my son was in another, some cleaver chap took my kidney out and they popped it on a bike and took it for a trip across London to put it in my son. I'll never forget the surgeons face when, as he asked if I had any questions, I ask what the bike was that the courier used.

He didn't know!
