Just bought a 1985 K100 RS that has had a poor attempt at a Cafe Racer build, and I am hopefully going to get it back to how it should look.

WelKome!

If they didn't hacksaw the frame you should be able to restore it to its former glory.

Not sure how folk communicate in Cleckhuddersfax/West Yorks, but here in Barnsley we speak Proper English, unlike the Queen and all that lot...

We speak a different English dialect down here but the "K" language is universal.

Welkome aboard. Enjoy the project.

Cheers

NOW THEN! (that's Yorkshire for hello), thanks for all the comments guys!

I've had the bike for 2 weeks an so far I have:
Changed the Oil/Filter
Changed the Coolant
Greased the rear spline
removed the wheels for either a powder coat or DIY Hammerite (not decided yet)
Completely dis/reassembled the front brake and master cylinder and flushed
removed the fuel tank and started sanding (hoping for a mirror finish!)
Wire brushed the top yoke
Removed and cleaned the oil/coolant pump, all looks good
Started sanding the frame to get the terrible "paint job" off, may Hammerite or powder coat

Whenever I close my eyes I see things to do on the bike, this is my first project and I am completely obsessed.
