Does anybody out there know how the mirror /indicator pod retaining clips can be removed . Mine are worn and the pod will not reattach to the fairing.

They slide out and can be replaced with new ones from BMW. Part 46631455047

If they don't stay in place well then a drop or two of epoxy will help.

Also make sure that the mounting plates aren't bent.

Many of us use stainless steel fishing leaders as mirror leashes.

Hi, Thanks for your advice. I cannot see how they slide out. They are solid and the front one is 3 sided.
Really struggling

Fight them with a pair of pliers or a screwdriver to force them out of the mounts. There's a small locating pip on the bottom of the clip which is what is preventing them from coming out. They're an equal bugger to get the new ones in for the same reason. Have you tried squeezing them together with the pliers to see if they'll give a better grip on the mirrors?
