Had my 1984 K100RS OEM monoshock ?Bilstein? re-conditioned last week by Rodney at RADS - $240 including chroming. Turn around time 1 week. Top bloke very friendly and helpful. Link here

Took it for a run today....didn't know you didn't have to bounce around corners!!

Quick stupid question....Is highest or lowest lug on adjustment collar lightest rider weight/softest ride?

Cheers

Mick

When it's adjusted so that the spring is compressed more it is stiffer.

Thanks very much Duck,

That's what I thought. Got confused when read Haynes manual and it said to adjust collar to "highest setting" for one up riding. Thought it meant highest lug on collar (compresses spring), when is actually lowest lug on collar (releases spring).

Cheers

Mick

G'Day Matthew,

Thanks. Much smoother ride. Forks and brakes next.

Still deciding if I am going to Masters games in October - same weekend as Cane Toad rally. Would love to attend whatever rally the group decides on - Gold Diggers/Cane Toad if I don't go the Masters games.

Still keen for weekend rides/meet ups/workshop days.

Regards,

Mick

RAD does a good job, I'm on my second one in over twenty years. I have no complaints they work well.
Regards Martin.
