I want to connect my Bep 3.0 + Koso TNT 04 to my BMW K100 1985
One basic - maybe dumb - question but my skills on electronics are below average.
Do i need to power the BEP 3 directly from Battery (+12V) or not? I cannot understand that clearly from the diagrams and googling. Simple logic says that the bep gets power from the two intstrument cluster sockets as the original cluster was. Or not?  Sad Sad
If so do i need to use a fuse between the connection from battery to bep?  Amps?
thank you.

The BEP 3.0 will obtain all of its required power through the OEM connector. There is no need for you to provision any additional power sources for that box. The pins labelled BAT and SWP are power OUTPUTS that go to your TNT-04.

Thank you Robert.
Yesterday, after following your advise i did the initial test connection.
I have connected BAT and SWP plus the Ground from Koso to Ground output of the BEP. Power on and everything worked fine. Now moving to the rest of the connections.
Thanks again
