yep no issues at all

you might find it helpful to remove one of the pockets , the left hand one  , 6 screws

that will let the 2 allen head screws to be removed holding the bracket of the cluster and will let you get at the back , the wiring should have a little length allowing easy change also

I did it but removed the screen and the cross member, made it very easy. Makes it easy to get in under the cluster from the front. Remove the support bracket with the cluster on it as a unit.

I'll be opening my old one when I get it off, faceplate is so warped by sun it pushed the speedo needle off, and the tacho needle got stuck on another wave of the warpage.....gear indicator lcd burned up years ago. I'm making a white cover for the new user so this will not happen!
